Our third pick from Coyote Canyon rolls down the Columbia Thursday, September 21: the comfort food of wines, Merlot!

This trip east will be slightly different in that I’ll be driving to Red Mountain first to drop off the bins we’ll fill with Cab Franc in the next week or so. Then I’ll head to Coyote Canyon, arriving around 10am to grab our Merlot and head back to town. I’ll be back by 2pm or so and wiggle the truck and trailer back up the driveway, then try sealing the bin so the fruit stays cold til the festivities start.

We’ll set up the destemmer and the shoot down into the basement, flick the switch, and we’re off. Once we’re all cleaned up, we eat and drink.

• Need 8-12 people total (including Matt)
• Wear shoes or boots you can get wet
• Bring a post-crush snack to share if you’re able
