2015 Roussanne
Consensus: Starting its downhill slide, but still worth drinking. But don’t tarry too long…

- VINEYARD:
Sugarloaf Vineyard - pH AT BOTTLING: 3.44
- ALCOHOL: 13.57%
- Honeysuckle, peach, and pear, with a little smoke. Rich body, almost an oily quality, and a good long finish. Great balance of acidity and fruit, to my taste. It's a magnificently unwashed wine, proud of the mud it's tracking through your house. This one really likes not being refrigerator-cold to unlock its blunderbuss of lushness. Yum.

- A little bottle-shocky at first, but after about half an hour, it really settled down. Honey and melon, a little citrus, and a really nice clean finish. I think this is turning into one of our better whites since I’ve been involved. Kind of a honeysuckle-orange nose
