2013 Tempranillo
Consensus: Starting to drink well. Probably needs decanting, and definitely a bit of air.

Sugarloaf Vineyard - ALCOHOL: 14.2%
- Holy eno-les! A totally captivating, oaky nose. Yes, the oak is prominent here, but unlike a lot of varietals, I think the macho Tempranillo likes a stiff dose of hard stuff. You can definitely taste that in the mouth, where oak is delightfully integrated. And tobacco! It’s a big, powerful wine that, with a year or two, will nonetheless dance around your mouth in ballet slippers.
