Good fruit, nice tannin, but oak dominates for now

Pretty nice. Not a hugely expressive nose right now, but it’s definitely dominated by oak – too much, I think, at least right now. Some nice, fresh fruit in there, with a good amount of tannin in the finish (though not drying tannins, thankfully). I’d give this a year to let the oak sink in and the tannin to integrate – hope that happens, anyway. For now, an okay but unbalanced wine.
